This document contains information on creating and extending memberships

Create a membership

A membership is linked to a resource. A user will request permission via the store for a resource and a memberships will be created if the request is approved. It is not possible to create memberships manually.

In the following cases, a membership will be automatically created:

  • When a user requests temporary access to a team in the store, and this is confirmed by the approver. A membership will not be created if the team access does not expire, and also not if a key user gives access to a user in the key-user portal.

Extend an existing membership

A user can find an overview of memberships in the end user portal under the menu item memberships. More information on overview of memberships here.

For a user to renew an active membership follow the next steps:

  • Open the end user portal

  • Click on memberships in the top menu

  • Open the membership you want to renew

A detail windows will appear on the right side of the window.

  • Choose the button Edit membership in the upper right corner of the detail panel.

You will be redirected to the store, here you can submit a new request for extention of the current membership.
